Four global cultural networks publish key document to support culture in the Post-2015 and the Sustainable Development Goals. The document puts forward several targets and indicators. It is now time for culture to be at the heart of a positive transformative change.

The Final Declaration of the world congress “Culture: key for sustainable development” recommends that the post-2015 development agenda includes a specific Goal on culture. The congress was organised by the UNESCO and China (May 14-17, in Hangzhou) as the first International Congress specifically focusing on the linkages between culture and sustainable development. Our document with four key messages to assist members of UCLG and partners was very well received in Hangzhou.
