Agenda 21 for culture
Introduction
The Agenda 21 for culture was approved on May 2004 by cities and local governments of the world that are committed to human rights, cultural diversity, sustainability, participatory democracy and the creation of the conditions for peace. This Document aims at setting the basis for a compromise from cities and local governments in order to foster cultural development. A growing number of cities and local governments the world over have adhered to the Agenda 21 for culture in their local councils.
