Culture in San Luis Potosi – Covid-19
Strategies and measures promoted by the local government to favour the exercise of Cultural Rights, in the face of the public health crisis that we are going through.
These actions are based on the recommendations that the UCLG Culture Committee has issued, via the strategy #CultureCovid19, aligned to the actions of BeyondTheOutBreak:
- The Emerging Action Plan "Resiliencies" an initial package of components and budgets for the cultural sector, issued by the Directorate of Culture of San Luis Potosi to address the health emergency: cultura.sanluis.gob.mx
- The COVID-19 Commission of the IberCultura Viva Network of Cities and Local Governments of the Ibero-American General Secretariat (SEGIB) is coordinated from San Luis Potosi, and it includes 19 cities in the region: bit.ly/IberCulturaCovid
The Local Charter for Cultural Rights is a process that we articulated together with the UNESCO offices in Mexico, and which starts from the considerations referred to in the document "Advice for the local implementation of Agenda 21 for Culture", particularly its tool 4.2: laculturaesunderecho.org
