The report Agenda 21 for culture in France. State of affairs and outlook is a summary of the dissertation presented by Christelle Blouët for the Master’s Degree in Project Management at the University of Angers.
Through the study of ten French local governments that included the Agenda 21 for culture in their urban policies, she analyses the added value of the Agenda 21 for culture in terms of cultural policies and what we can learn from its implementation.
This study reveals that the public policies of the French local governments should reflect and search for new initiatives. In this respect, the Agenda 21 for culture provides numerous resources to construct a global and coherent political project that takes into account cultural rights, the exercise of full citizenship, and the impact of culture on all levels of public intervention.
